U18s in FA Youth Cup Action at Gillingham - Ipswich Town News

The Blues’ U18s are in FA Youth Cup fourth round action against Gillingham at the Priestfield Stadium this evening (KO 7pm). The winners of the tie will face Southampton or Watford away in the next round.

The youngsters, who are coached by Adem Atay and Kieron Dyer, beat non-league Andover Town 4-0 in their third round tie at Portman Road last month.

The Gills won 2-1 away at Blackburn in the third round having beaten AFC Wimbledon 3-1 and Cheltenham 4-0, also on their travels, in the previous rounds.

Town have won the competition on three occasions, in 1973, 1975 and most recently in 2005.
