Reuser Committed - Ipswich Town News

Martijn Reuser has committed himself to Town for the season ahead. The Ipswich-restaurant-eschewing Dutchman says he even feels a little bit English these days.

Reuser says that a move away from Portman Road hasn't even crossed his mind this summer and is settled into life here: "My mind is clear and I am happy with Ipswich. I will be giving 200 per cent next season.

"After two and a half years in this country I feel a little bit English now!

"Of course, it is a big disappointment that we are not in the Premiership. Like any sportsman, I want to play at the very highest level.

"But I believe we can still make it a very exciting season for the club and our supporters. We should not see it as the end of the world to be playing in the First Division."

Reuser, who has taken in Bermuda and Canada on his holidays this summer, says the squad are confident that they are good enough to win promotion back to the Premiership at the first attempt.
