Rowe Rejoins Lincoln on Loan - Ipswich Town News

Winger Danny Rowe has rejoined his former loan club Lincoln City for the remainder of the campaign.

Earlier this afternoon, Blues boss Paul Lambert revealed that Rowe and Janoi Donacien were both close to departing for stints out on loan.

The 26-year-old was with the Imps, who currently top League Two, for the second half of last season, making 13 starts and three sub appearances and scoring two goals, before an ankle injury curtailed his spell. He also won a Checkatrade Trophy winner’s medal while at Sincil Bank.

"It's nice to come back to where I was last season, the surroundings are different but it's the same people," Rowe told the Imps official site.

"The main reason I came was because I feel comfortable playing under Danny and Nicky [Cowley, manager and assistant boss], and every game is big game at the top of the league."

He added: "Anything is possible right now, all I want to do is get games games in. I have got the opportunity here and we'll see where it goes."

Rowe, who joined Town from Macclesfield in January 2017, has made four sub appearances for the Blues this season. In total, he has made two starts and appeared eight times from the bench.

The former Stockport wideman is contracted to the Blues until 2020 with the club having an option for a further year.
