Roberts Completes Loan Move to Lincoln - Ipswich Town News
Town have confirmed that Jordan Roberts has joined Lincoln City on loan for the rest of the season, as TWTD revealed earlier this afternoon.
The 25-year-old joins Danny Rowe, who rejoined the Imps for the rest of the campaign last week and scored twice on his second full debut as they won 2-0 at Yeovil on Tuesday evening.
Roberts signed for the Blues in the summer on a free transfer after leaving Crawley Town at the end of last season.
The winger or striker rarely featured under Paul Hurst but was used as a number nine by Paul Lambert after he took over.
However, with Collin Quaner and Will Keane having been added to the squad during January, Roberts seems unlikely to be used in that role.
Bradford City, Plymouth Argyle and the MK Dons had previously been linked but manager Lambert said last week that moves for Roberts had broken down.
In total, Roberts has made six starts and six sub appearances for the Blues without scoring.
