Emmanuel, Bishop, Dozzell and Dawkins in U23s Facing Millwall - Ipswich Town News

Josh Emmanuel, Teddy Bishop, Andre Dozzell and Simon Dawkins will be in Town’s table-topping U23s side as they take on Millwall at Playford Road this afternoon (KO 1pm).

Right-back Emmanuel, 21, will be playing his first game in a Town shirt since having his loan spell with League One Shrewsbury cut short due to a lack of first-team action.

The side coached by Gerard Nash and Chris Hogg are currently seven points clear at the top of the Professional Development League Two South table having won their last three matches.

In November, Millwall beat the Blues 2-0 at their Calmont Road training ground, the most recent loss suffered by the Town youngsters, who are currently undefeated in four.

U23s: Egan, Emmanuel, Cotter, Spence, Clements, Dozzell, Nydam, Bishop, Dawkins, K Brown, Drinan. Subs: Ware, El Mizouni, Webber, Dobra, McGavin.
