Croft Out of Friendly - Ipswich Town News

Gary Croft has pulled out of the squad for tonight's reserves friendly with Saffron Walden Town. We understand that the full-back is continuing to have talks regarding his move to Cardiff City.

Also missing out at Caton's Lane this evening (KO 7.30) is youngster Erdem Artun. However, 17-year-old Stuart Boardley has been called into the squad.

Croft's withdrawal means only Richard Logan and Nabil Abidallah have experience of the Town first team, although keeper James Pullen made a number of senior appearances for Blackpool while on loan at Bloomfield Road last season.

Revised squad: James Pullen, Matt Richards, Justin Miller, Lee Beevers, Nabil Abidallah, Matt Bloomfield, Ian Westlake, Matt Robinson, Robert Dickinson, Richard Logan, Steve Burton, Gerard O'Connor, Sam Morrow, Erkan Okay, Marc Smith, Chris Hogg, Lee Chaffey, Guy Bonwick and Stuart Boardley.
