U18s and U23s Games Move Ahead of Youth Cup Tie - Ipswich Town News

Saturday’s U18s game at home to Charlton and Monday’s U23s match against Watford at Playford Road have both moved with the U18s in FA Youth Cup action away against the Hornets on Tuesday.

The U18s match with the Addicks will now take place on Tuesday 26th March, while the U23s fixture with Watford will be played on Tuesday 19th March, both at Playford Road

The U18s, who are coached by Adem Atay and Kieron Dyer, face the Hornets in their round five FA Youth Cup tie at Wingate and Finchley's Maurice Rebak Stadium on Tuesday evening (KO 7pm).

If they win they will face Leicester City away in the quarter-finals and then, if they defeat the Foxes, Preston, Bury, Liverpool or Wigan in a two-legged semi-final.

Town have won the competition on three occasions, in 1973, 1975 and most recently in 2005.
