Town to Face Leiston in Premier Cup - Ipswich Town News
Town’s youngsters will play Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division Central Leiston in the semi-finals of the Suffolk Premier Cup on Wednesday 13th March at Felixstowe & Walton’s Goldstar Ground (KO 7.45pm).
The Blues have fielded essentially an U18s team for the last few seasons with one or two older fringe players augmenting the side.
They reached the semi-finals by beating Kirkley & Pakefield 3-1 at Walmer Road earlier this month, having defeated Walsham-le-Willows on penalties in the second round.
The final - where the opponents will be either Felixstowe & Walton or Stowmarket Town - will be played at Portman Road on Wednesday 8th May, one of six county finals Town are hosting this season.
