Youngster Dobra With Albania Squad - Ipswich Town News

Academy midfielder Armando Dobra has spent the last three days at an Albanian U19s training camp.

Coach Nevil Dede assembled a squad of 22 players including six born in England and with English clubs, including Dobra and Norwich midfielder Anis Mehmeti, as Albania look to cast their net more widely.

The camp culminated in a match against an Albanian U20 side at the National Sports Centre in Kamëz which ended 3-3.

Dobra joined Town from the Essex-based Finesse Football Academy as an U15 and became a full-time scholar in the summer of 2017.

The 17-year-old has enjoyed an impressive season with the U18s and U23s and recently hit a late strike to claim a late 1-0 victory for the U23s at Cardiff.
