Lambert: We'll Know More About Keane's Injury Before Weekend - Ipswich Town News
Town boss Paul Lambert says Will Keane’s injury will be assessed before Saturday’s game at home to Reading with the striker currently working with the Blues’ medical staff.
Keane, who is on loan for the rest of the season from Hull City, suffered a hamstring problem during the 1-1 draw at Wigan having netted his third Town goal from the penalty spot.
"Will has been terrific for us so it’s obviously disappointing for him and for us that he’s picked up an injury,” Lambert told the club site.
"He’s working with the physios and we will know more before the weekend. We will do everything we can to get him back as soon as possible.”
