Town Planning German Pre-Season Trip - Ipswich Town News
TWTD understands Town are in the process of planning a pre-season training camp in Germany ahead of their 2019/20 campaign.
The news is little surprise with manager Paul Lambert having won the Champions League while a player with Borussia Dortmund and completed his coaches badges in Germany.
He has also previously taken his Norwich, Aston Villa and Wolves sides on German trips in pre-season.
It’s believed that a number of friendlies against opposition yet to be confirmed will form part of Town's trip.
The Blues last visited Germany in the summer of 2015 when they trained and played a friendly at Fortuna Düsseldorf, the home side winning the match 4-3.
