The young Blues, who are coached by Adem Atay and Kieron Dyer, are third in the table, seven points behind the Bluebirds, who they beat 2-1 in Wales in December.
Town’s table-topping U23s are next in action at Playford Road on Monday afternoon when they face Burnley (KO 1pm).
