U18s at Birmingham - Ipswich Town News
Town’s U18s are in action away against Birmingham City at their Trillion Trophy Training Centre on Saturday afternoon (KO 12pm).
The young Blues, who are coached by Adem Atay and Kieron Dyer, are currently second in the Professional Development League Two South table, four points behind leaders Cardiff City.
Meanwhile, the young Town side which lost 3-1 in a friendly to a Brentford B side at Playford Road on Wednesday was almost wholly made up of trialists set to be released by their current clubs' academies at the end of the season looking for new teams.
Assistant manager Stuart Taylor took charge of the hopefuls as they were defeated by the Bees.
