Chambers: I Still See a Lot to Be Positive About - Ipswich Town News

Skipper Luke Chambers believes there is much to be positive about at Town despite admitting that it’s now going to be difficult to escape the drop. Chambers, 33, signed a new two-year deal with the Blues on Friday.

"The manager and the owner are working closely together and they are creating a plan. It’s a plan they are going to stick to,” he told the club site.

"We know it’s going to be difficult to get out of the position we are in but I still see a lot to be positive about.

"We have a lot of good youngsters here, we’ve got some really good experienced players here, there are lads here that are very talented but have been unfortunate with injury that we need to get them on the pitch.

"But listen, when you are getting 24,000 fans at home games like we did the other week and have the atmosphere like we’ve had and you are bottom of the league, that shows you that the club will be alright, whoever is here.”
