Pennington and Bishop Miss Out as Blues Face Hull - Ipswich Town News
The Blues are without Matthew Pennington, who we understand has suffered a season-ending ankle injury, and Teddy Bishop for this afternoon’s home game against Hull City.
The central defender, who has been on loan for the season from Everton, is replaced at the centre of the defence by Toto Nsiala.
In midfield, Cole Skuse returns alongside Jon Nolan and Trevoh Chalobah. Up front, Kayden Jackson starts with Collin Quaner on the bench.
While Town make three changes from their last game a fortnight ago, Hull make four with Todd Kane, Eric Lichaj, Jordy de Wijs and Dan Batty coming into the side.
Town: Bialkowski, Bree, Chambers (c), Nsiala, Kenlock, Skuse, Chalobah, Nolan, Edwards, Judge, Jackson. Subs: Gerken, Knudsen, Downes, Dozzell, Emmanuel, El Mizouni, Quaner.
Hull City: Marshall (c), Lichaj, De Wijs, Burke, Pugh, Groskicki, Irvine, Kane, Batty, Bowen, Campbell. Subs: Long, Stewart, Evandro, Milinkovic, McKenzie, Martin, Ridgewell. Referee: John Brooks (Leicestershire).
