Russell Osman Sporting Dinner Competition Winner - Ipswich Town News
The competition to win a pair of tickets to Thursday's sporting dinner featuring Blues and England legend Russell Osman at Greshams in Tuddenham Road is now closed.
As well as Osman telling tales of his playing days with Town, England and a number of other clubs, comedian Ian Irving will also be appearing at the event where there will be a two-course meal.
In addition, there will be an auction to raise funds for The Beat Goes On, the campaign for a statue of Osman’s team-mate Kevin Beattie.
The winner of the competition, who was picked at random from those who emailed to tell us that Osman represented England Schoolboys at rugby union, was Adrian Thrower.
If you didn’t win, you can still buy tickets here via Greshams. Tables of 10 cost £300 or single tickets are £35 per person.

Blackburn Rovers 1-0 Ipswich Town - Match AbandonedTown look set to face a return trip to Blackburn Rovers later in the season after this afternoon’s game was abandoned after 80 minutes due to a waterlogged pitch with the home side 1-0 up and with the Blues down to 10 men.
