U23s Confirmed in Play-Offs - Ipswich Town News

Town’s table-topping U23s are now confirmed in the Professional Development League Two end-of-season play-offs after second-placed Coventry drew 1-1 with Sheffield United this afternoon.

Only Crystal Palace, currently third, can catch the young Blues but Gerard Nash (pictured) and Chris Hogg’s side appear certain to win the division with the Eagles eight points behind with only three games remaining.

Town's U23s are next in action against Leeds United, who have already won the Professional Development League Two North title and thereby securing a play-off place of their own, at Elland Road on Monday evening (KO 7pm).

The top two teams in the South and North sections of the Professional Development League Two take part in the play-offs to find an overall winner.

Town’s U18s, who also currently top their league, confirmed their place in the play-offs at the weekend.
