An emergency meeting of the Safety Advisory Group is currently under way regarding the prohibition notice served on the University of Bolton Stadium for the Bolton Wanderers games involving Town on Saturday and Middlesbrough on Tuesday.
The matches were cast into doubt yesterday cast when the Safety Advisory Group withdrew the ground’s safety certificate.
It had been anticipated that there would be news on the games tomorrow morning with the expectation that the fixtures would take place as planned, however the situation may well be clarified once the meeting has taken place.
Town have sold more than 1,000 seats for the game with tickets reduced to £5 across the board.
