Old Boys Win Trophy - Ipswich Town News
Town's old boys won one of this season's first trophies at the weekend at the UK National five-a-side championship. TWTD columnist John Wark led the Town side to victory at Hackney Marshes in the charity competition.
The tournament raised money for the Les Sealey Trust Fund with Town facing sides from Aston Villa, Charlton, Leyton Orient, Manchester City, Nottingham Forest, Sunderland as well as TV celebrities.
Former Town players will also be in action in Masters Football on Saturday at the London Arena against Arsenal, Spurs and Millwall.
Town's provisional squad is as follows, although we understand it is subject to a number of late changes: Jon Hallworth, Simon Milton, Neil Thompson, Trevor Putney, Mark Brennan, Jason Dozzell, Bontcho Guentchev, Neil Woods, Ian Atkins and Steve Whitton.
