Judge: Easy Decision to Make - Ipswich Town News

Alan Judge says it was an easy decision to make to extend his stay with the Blues until at least the summer of 2021 with the club having an option for a further season.

The 30-year-old has put pen to paper on the deal after impressing since joining the club for a nominal fee from Brentford in January.

"It was an easy decision,” he told iFollow Ipswich. "I am not enjoying where we are in the table but I am enjoying playing for this club.

"I felt at home here from the first day I arrived. The supporters have been great and when you think where we are in the table, the atmosphere around the place is incredible really.

"I’ve had people ask me why I would sign for a club at the bottom of the league and I’ve said the most important thing for me is to enjoy my football and I’m doing that here.

"The season has not gone as well as we would have hoped but I’m here and looking forward to the challenge of helping the team get back heading in the right direction.”
