Midfielder Tom Adeyemi is set to return to action for the first time since pre-season when the U23s, already confirmed as winners of Professional Development League Two South, face Nottingham Forest in their final league fixture of the season at Portman Road this evening (KO 7pm).
Adeyemi, who missed most of last season with a hamstring injury, suffered an achilles problem in pre-season which eventually required surgery in October.
The 27-year-old, who was at Norwich during Paul Lambert's time as boss at Carrow Road, is out of contract at the end of the season but with the club having an option to keep him for a further year.
Idris El Mizouni and Tristan Nydam, both subs for the first team in recent games, will also be in the U23s midfield this evening.
