Ten Fans to Be Guests of Club at End-of-Season Dinner - Ipswich Town News

Town will be inviting 10 fans to the End-of-Season Dinner on Tuesday 7th May as representatives of the club’s support, who manager Paul Lambert believes are the “only people who should be getting awards this season”.

The black tie event, which is sponsored by Greene King IPA, takes place at The Hangar at Milsoms Kesgrave Hall with Lambert, his coaching staff and the players attending.""

A number of presentations will be made on the night, while there will be a tribute to skipper Luke Chambers, who recently reached 300 appearances for the Blues.

Lambert said: "The only people who should be getting awards this season are the supporters. They are the ones that deserve it.”

"Town’s general manager of football operations, Lee O’Neill, added: "It was a very quick conversation with Marcus [Evans] and he agreed straight away that it’s something we should do given the fantastic support the team has had in what has obviously been a very disappointing season. Paul is keen for the club to make the gesture as well.”

Town will be in contact with 10 supporters to be the guests of the club at the dinner in due course, with each of Portman Road’s stands to be represented.
