Released Blues Youngster Vega Signs Pro Deal at Charlton - Ipswich Town News
Released Blues youngster Luca Vega has signed a professional contract with Charlton Athletic after a trial.
As reported in March, defender Vega, 18, who had been with the Blues since the age of seven, was told he would not be offered terms at the end of this season at the completion of his two-year academy scholarship.
Vega, who spent time on loan at Lowestoft earlier in the season, subsequently began a trial with the Addicks, who the Blues could face in League One next season, playing games for their U18s and U23s, and impressed enough to win a pro deal.
