Club Pay Tribute to Departing Kit Man Goody - Ipswich Town News

Town have paid tribute to long-serving academy coach and kit man Ken Goody, who is retiring this summer.

Goody has been at Town for more than 30 years, latterly as academy kit man for the U23s and U18s, while also assisting with the senior side.

"Ken has been a fantastic servant to Ipswich Town and he will be missed for sure,” general manager of football operations Lee O’Neill told the cub site. "We wish him well for whatever the future brings for him.”

Goody, pictured above with O’Neill and U23s coaches Gerard Nash and Chris Hogg, joined the U23s on the pitch at half-time during Sunday’s game against Leeds to receive the trophy for finishing top of the Professional Development League Two South table.
