Alan Judge picked up an assist as the Republic of Ireland drew 1-1 in their Euro 2020 qualifier in Denmark but later broke his wrist, while Idris El Mizouni made his full international debut as Tunisia beat Iraq 2-0 in a friendly.
Judge, 30, picked up his sixth full cap as a 66th minute sub and won and then took the freekick from which Brighton's Shane Duffy scored the equaliser for ex-Blues boss Mick McCarthy’s side.
The midfielder looks certain to miss Ireland's game against Gibraltar in Dublin on Monday with the FAI announcing he broke his wrist in the closing moments of tonight's match, although manager Mick McCarthy said in post-match interviews that he had broken his arm.
"Judgy put a great freekick in and if you get a good freekick into Shane Duffy, he always has a chance," he told RTE Sport.
"It looks like he has broken his arm. If he didn't have bad luck, he would have no luck at all. He has had so many injuries.
"He has just moved to a new club and I thought he was terrific. He gave us legs and a bit of quality as well."
Whether the injury might have any impact on the former Brentford man's involvement in pre-season remains to be seen, although players regularly play matches with broken wrists, Blues skipper Luke Chambers among them towards the end of last season. The squad is due to return to Playford Road on June 24th.
El Mizouni came on as an 81st minute sub to make his international bow as the Tunisians won 2-0 in Rades. Previously he had won two caps for Tunisia’s U23s Olympic side, scoring once.
The 18-year-old, who was born in France but qualifies for Tunisia via his father, is the first Town player to represent the North African nation.
