Town Ball 15 in Carabao Cup Draw - Ipswich Town News

Town will be ball number 15 in Thursday evening’s Carabao Cup first round draw.

The EFL announces their fixtures at 9am, when the Blues' League One fixtures will be available on TWTD, with the draw for the Carabao Cup made at 7pm the same evening, live from the Morrisons supermarket in Colindale, close to Wembley Stadium where the final will eventually take place, in contrast to previous draws which have taken place in the likes of Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City.

The draw, which is regionalised on a north-south basis and features 70 teams but with seeding having been abandoned last year, will be made by John Barnes and Ray Parlour. It will be live on the Carabao Cup Facebook page, the EFL’s Twitter and on EFL.com. The games will take place in the week starting August 12th.

Last season the Blues were beaten 4-2 on penalties at Exeter City in round one following a 1-1 draw.
