New Paderborn Venue Confirmed - Ipswich Town News
Town’s opening pre-season friendly against German Bundesliga new boys Paderborn on Saturday 6th July will now be played at the Stadion Laumeskamp in Delbrück, the club has confirmed.
The game was originally to be staged at Biekra Sportpark in Bielefeld before it was moved to the Cronsbachstadion in Steinhagen but that venue fell through due to police concerns regarding security with there being no way of segregating fans. The match remains a 3pm kick-off, local time.
The following weekend the Blues take part in the four-team Interweppen Cup in Meppen.
