Gerken's Colchester Return Confirmed - Ipswich Town News
Colchester United have confirmed that keeper Dean Gerken is rejoining them following his release by the Blues at the end of last season.
Gerken has been training with the U’s and is expected to play in today's friendly at Welsh Premier League side Cefn Druids.
The 34-year-old came through the youth system at Colchester and made 126 senior appearances during his first spell with the North Essex club before moving on to Bristol City in 2009.
The Rochford-born keeper joined Ipswich following a trial in the summer of 2013 and went on to make 113 starts for the Blues.
