Norwood and Huws in XI Facing Fortuna - Ipswich Town News

New striker James Norwood will make his first appearance in a Town shirt as the Blues face their sister club Fortuna Düsseldorf in their opening 45-minute game at the Interwetten Cup in Meppen (KO 2pm local time, 1pm UK).

Also in Town’s XI against Fortuna is Emyr Huws, playing his second game in a week following his long injury absence. Huws has spoken to iFollow Ipswich about his progress and return to action.

The Fortuna Blues have run a coach to the game from Düsseldorf with more than 75 Town supporters who have travelled from Suffolk using their home city as their base for the weekend and joining them on the trip to the match and on the terraces.

Town boss Paul Lambert has said he will play a different team in each half-match with the Blues facing the winner of the game between hosts SV Meppen and FC Utrecht in either the third-place play-off or final later this afternoon.

Town: Bialkowski, Donacien, Nsiala, Woolfenden, Nydam, Skuse, El Mizouni, Huws, Lankester, Dobra, Norwood.
