Sheepy on Season Tickets - Ipswich Town News
Town will have 18,500 season tickets for the season ahead, just 1,000 down on last year. Blues' chairman David Sheepshanks hailed the total as a "vote of confidence" as the club seeks promotion at the first attempt.
Sheepshanks told the club site: "We have been very encouraged by the response we have had and it's a reflection of the belief of our supporters.
"The figure of 18,500 is a tremendous vote of confidence in the club, the manager and the players and now it's our job to live up to it.
"The only disappointment is that 3,600 season ticket holders from last year have not renewed for this time, but in turn we have 2,600 brand new season ticket holders, who will of course benefit from the prize freeze for next year."
Season ticket holders should have their tickets drop through their door in the next week or so.
