Players Won't Leave Cheap - Ipswich Town News
Town manager George Burley says that although the club need to sell, players will not go on the cheap. Burley also confirmed that the club has had enquiries about Hermann Hreidarsson.
Burley said: "There have been enquiries regarding Hermann and other players in our squad, but there have been no bids. It's as simple as that."
"It can be unsettling for players to hear speculation, but they just have to get on with their games and continue preparing for the new season. I can only deal in facts and at the moment we have had no bids in for anyone.
"We know the price we would take for certain players, but we also want to keep a good squad for next season. If any of our best players are to be sold it has to be on terms that are right for both parties."
