Town’s U18s were defeated 5-1 by Bayer Leverkusen’s U19s on Saturday morning. The youngsters are currently on a pre-season trip to Holland.
Zak Brown, who recently signed his first pro deal with the Blues, was on target for Town, who ended the game with 10 men following Louie Fehrenbach’s late red card for dissent.
The U18s face Spart Ratterdam in their second game in Holland on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, young keeper Toby Egan has joined his hometown club Haverhill Rovers on loan. Egan, 18, was with the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division side as a schoolboy before moving to the Blues’ academy.
Elsewhere, new scholar Cameron Stewart is away with the Northern Ireland U17 squad at the Nordic Cup in Denmark this week.
The Northern Irish youngsters face Sweden’s U17s today, Denmark on Wednesday and Finland on Friday. Defender Stewart joined the Blues from Linfield this summer.
