U23s at Maldon & Tiptree on Wednesday - Ipswich Town News
Town’s U23s are playing a hastily arranged final pre-season friendly against Maldon and Tiptree at their Park Drive ground on Wednesday evening (KO 7.45pm).
The Jammers, who play in the BetVictor Isthmian North Division, are managed by former Blues central defender Wayne Brown.
Admission to Wednesday’s game is £5 for adults and £2 for concessions and under 16s.
The Town youngsters' game at Stowmarket last week was cancelled due to illness in the Blues camp.
The U23s, who are coached by Gerard Nash and Chris Hogg, now start their season proper at Hull City a week on Monday, next week's home game against Bolton having been postponed until October.
