Lambert Confirms Vincent-Young to Sign Subject to Medical - Ipswich Town News
Town boss Paul Lambert has confirmed that Colchester United right-back Kane Vincent-Young will sign for the club subject to a medical.
As TWTD reported earlier, Vincent-Young was at Playford Road this morning, the clubs having agreed a £500,000 fee on Wednesday evening.
Vincent-Young underwent a medical today but the results of some aspects won’t be confirmed until the weekend.
"He's here but it's all subject to a medical," Lambert told iFollow Ipswich.
"Hopefully that all goes well and he'll be a good signing for the club. He fits the mould - he's quick, dynamic and he's a talented player.
"Kane can play on both sides of defence so he gives us options too. He's an athletic lad and he's good on the ball plus he's only 23 years old.
"Should everything go to plan then we will be looking forward to working with him."
