Blues youngster Brett McGavin made his first start for loan club Concord Rangers as the Beach Boys drew 2-2 at Dulwich Hamlet yesterday.
McGavin, 19, joined the National League South club on a 28-day loan earlier in the week and made his debut as a sub in Tuesday’s 1-0 defeat at Tonbridge Angels.
The Bury St Edmunds-born midfielder, the son of former head of academy recruitment Steve McGavin, signed his first professional contract in February, a deal which runs to the summer of 2020 with the club having an option for a further season.
