Vincent-Young: Perfect Next Step - Ipswich Town News
New signing Kane Vincent-Young says joining the Blues on a four-year deal - with the club having an option for a further season - is the perfect next step in his career. Town confirmed the 23-year-old right-back’s move from Colchester this morning.
"I can’t thank Colchester enough,” the 23-year-old told iFollow Ipswich. "They gave me an opportunity to go there and play first-team football and find my feet, to make mistakes and learn from them.
"I really enjoyed my time there but this is perfect for me to come to Ipswich and make the next step in my career.
"I spoke to the manager and I was enthused about how well he spoke about the club and the plans for the future.
"I didn’t realise what a big club it is here and I’m excited to be part of it. I know Ipswich are looking to get back in the Championship straightaway and I want to help them do that.”
