Community Trust Launches Trials for New Player Programme - Ipswich Town News

Town have announced trials for the Community Trust’s new Boys Elite Development Centre trial events which will take place at three venues across Suffolk.

The aim of the Elite Player Development Centre Programme (EPDC) is to provide gifted and talented players the opportunity to train on a weekly basis with Town coaching staff at locations across Suffolk and North Essex.

The trials are taking place in three locations, Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds and Eye, but those who are successful will be able to train at venues in Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, Lowestoft, Haverhill, Sudbury, Eye, Tiptree or Newmarket.

The first trials will take place in September at the following times and locations:

Tuesday 3rd September — Bury St Edmunds (Skyliner Sports Centre, Rougham Tower Avenue, Bury St Edmunds IP32 7QB)

U7 — U9 from 6-7pm
U10 — U12 from 7-8pm

Wednesday 4th September — Eye (Hartismere School, Castleton Way, Eye IP23 7BL)

U7 — U9 from 5-6pm
U10 — U12 from 6-7pm

Thursday 5th September — Ipswich (Gate 1, Sir Alf Ramsey Way, Portman Road Stadium, Ipswich IP1 2DA)

U7 & U8 from 6-7pm
U9 & U10 from 7-8pm

Friday 6th September — Ipswich (Gate 1, Sir Alf Ramsey Way, Portman Road Stadium, Ipswich IP1 2DA)

U11 & U12 from 5-6pm
U13 — U16 from 6-7pm

Players are instructed to bring weather appropriate clothing, shin pads, a drink, astro boots and any essential medication/inhalers. ""Register by sending the information below to community@itfc.co.uk with a subject heading including the phrase ‘Trial Registration’.

Following receipt of the above information, the ITFC Community Trust will make contact with confirmation of a place on the trial.

Spaces are limited per age group and places will be secured on a first come first serve basis. Players cannot attend the trial without registering.
