Jackson: We'll Work Well as a Pair - Ipswich Town News

Striker Kayden Jackson says he and fellow frontman James Norwood are developing an understanding, the pair having netted the goals as the Blues came from behind to beat AFC Wimbledon 2-1 at Portman Road last night.

The duo started the first three League One games as a front two before Jackson came off the bench last night to claim his first goal of the season in injury time, Norwood having grabbed his second of the campaign on 81.

"The more you play with someone, the better that relationship becomes," Jackson told iFollow Ipswich.

"We linked up a few times against Wimbledon in the second half and I think going forward we'll get stronger.

"I've seen Nors and what he does. I've been able to take some advice from him on central positions because that's where strikers get their goals.

"I think we'll work well as a pair but the most important thing is that we're helping the team earn three points. Whether it's Nors, me or anyone scoring, our main aim is to move up the table.”
