U23s Defeated at Birmingham - Ipswich Town News
Town’s U23s were beaten 2-0 by Birmingham City at their Trillion Trophy Training Centre this afternoon.
Odin Bailey gave the home side the lead from the penalty spot on 49 and Josh Andrews completed the scoring six minutes later. The home side played the final nine minutes with 10 men due to injury after using all their subs.
Gerard Nash’s Blues, who are still looking for their first point this season after three defeats in their opening games, included trialist defender George Heaven, previously with Leicester.
