Blues striker James Norwood has won the PFA League One Fans’ Player of the Month award for August.
Norwood, who also celebrates his 29th birthday today, romped to the gong receiving 48 per cent of the votes received ahead of Alex Jakubiak of Gillingham, Sunderland’s Chris Maguire, Coventry pair Marko Marosi and Michael Rose and Peterborough’s Ivan Toney.
The summer signing from Tranmere is the top scorer in League One with five goals from six games in his first month for the Blues.
