Australasian Blues in Derby Action - Ipswich Town News
The Australasian Branch of the Supporters Club will be hoping to emulate the success of ITFC Women when they take on their Norwich City counterparts in the Derby Down Under in Brisbane tomorrow.
The Blues have already recorded one derby win this week with the Tractor Girls running out 4-1 victors on Wednesday evening.
The Derby Down Under’s first five stagings all took place in Sydney with Town winning the first four before deadly rivals Canaries Down Under claimed their first victory last September.
This season’s match takes place at 150 Fursden Road, Carina, Brisbane on Saturday and kicks-off at 2pm.
"Please come along and support as we attempt to regain the trophy,” chairman Ed Parker told TWTD.
Ed will be speaking to BBC Radio Suffolk’s Life’s a Pitch after the game, hopefully during post-match celebrations.
