ITFC Women in Home Action Against Actonians - Ipswich Town News

Ipswich Town Women will be looking to build on Wednesday’s 4-1 derby thrashing of Norwich City when they face Actonians at the Goldstar Ground, Felixstowe on Sunday afternoon (KO 2pm).

The victory over the Canaries, watched by a record crowd of 761, took the Tractor Girls to second in the FA WNL Division One South East, while Actonians are in sixth.

Manager Joe Sheehan wants his side to maintain and then better the level of performance from the derby victory and the 4-0 win at Kent Football United last Sunday.

"Now we’ve set the bar over the last two games we’ll see if we’re able to sustain that level week in week out," he said.

"We’ve still got lots of improving to do and we hope our progress will continue this Sunday.”

We’re back at home this Sunday! 🏠

Can we get another big crowd? 👀
