Away Days Launch New Town Ales at Ipswich Beer Festival - Ipswich Town News

The Away Days Beer Company is launching their three new Town-themed beers at the Ipswich Beer Festival at the Corn Exchange from Thursday 19th September to Saturday 21st September.

Away Days, who already have beers in tribute to Sir Bobby Robson, Boncho Genchev and Kevin Beattie and contributed to the campaign for a statue of the Blues legend, are launching ales saluting Terry Butcher, Alan Brazil and Pablo Couñago.

Butcher’s Bandage, a red ale, Brazil’s Best, a bitter and Pablo’s Pale will all be available on cask from the Thursday night at the festival which this year is being run this year by Hopsters, the Ipswich-based craft ale retailers.

With an incredible array of craft beer and real ale breweries, the festival will bring beers to Ipswich which will really impress the public.

In addition, there's street food plus live music from Mark Morriss, the lead singer of the Bluetones, and Lewis Floyd Henry, the man they call the 21st Century Hendrix, whose mash-ups of blues, rock, and hip hop have gone viral online.

Tickets available online from the festival’s website or Hopsters on St Nicholas Street.
