League Loses Case - Ipswich Town News
The Football League has lost its High Court action against Granada and Carlton. The Court decided that the two companies are not liable for the debts of ITV Digital.
ITV Digital collapsed with debts to the Football League of £178.5 million earlier this year.
The Football League has since signed a less lucrative deal with Sky, but the High Court's ruling is likely to see more clubs announcing theat they are in severe financial straits.
