Le Pen Wants to Leave - Ipswich Town News
Misfit French midfielder Ulrich Le Pen says he wants to leave Portman Road despite George Burley recently telling him he is definitely in his plans for the season ahead.
Le Pen, who was strongly linked with a move to Strasbourg earlier in the summer, is currently out with a foot injury sustained in the pre-season game with AaB Aalborg last month.
The Frenchman says he wants to leave by the time the transfer window closes: "I hope to have found a new club by August 31st."
Winger Le Pen joined from Lorient last season for £1.7 million but has made just two appearances as sub.
Reports in France say that a number of clubs have come in with loan bids for the 28-year-old but that Town are only interested in talking permanent moves.
