Wycombe Game Rescheduled - Ipswich Town News

Town’s home game against Wycombe Wanderers has been rescheduled for Tuesday 26th November (KO 7.45pm).

The match, the Chairboys’ first ever visit to Portman Road, was originally set to be played on Saturday 12th October but was postponed due to international calls.

As a result, Town now don't have a scheduled Saturday home game until Saturday 23rd November when Blackpool are in Suffolk.

Unless the Blues draw a home tie in the first round of the FA Cup and that game is played on Saturday 9th November, Town will go eight weeks between Saturday fixtures at Portman Road following last weekend's 4-1 defeat of Tranmere.

Last month the trip to Rochdale was postponed due to international calls, while the game at Oxford United on Saturday 16th November is also likely to be moved for the same reason.

Alan Judge (Republic of Ireland), Anthony Georgiou (Cyprus), Armando Dobra (Albania U19s) and Adam Przybek (Wales U21s) have already been confirmed in international squads while it's expected Andre Dozzell (England U20s) and Idris El Mizouni (either Tunisia full or U23s squad) will also be called up, while Flynn Downes (England U20s) could also be named.
