Town’s U18s were beaten 2-1 at Crystal Palace on Saturday morning with Lewis Reed the scorer of the Blues’ goal.
Following a goalless first half, Cardo Siddik and Denzelle Olopade put the Eagles two ahead before sub Reed turned Fraser Alexander’s volley home late on for the visitors.
Town’s U18s, who are coached by Adem Atay, are now fifth in the Professional Development Two South table.
U18s: Alley, Ruffles, Baggott, Alexander, Fehrenbach, Henderson (Kabongolo 77), Cutbush, Healey, Curtis (Reed 68), Gibbs, Mesuria (Bareck 54). Unused: Bello, Baker.
