Downes and Dozzell Could Add to Caps - Ipswich Town News
Midfield duo Flynn Downes and Andre Dozzell could add to their international caps this evening when England’s U20s face the Czech Republic at Peterborough United’s London Road (KO 7pm).
The pair both started Thursday’s 2-2 draw in Italy, Dozzell playing the full 90 minutes as he won his sixth cap and Downes the first 83 as he picked up his third.
Elsewhere, Blues loan winger Anthony Georgiou was an unused sub as Cyprus were thrashed 5-0 at home by Russia - having been reduced to 10 men after only 27 minutes - in a Euro 2020 qualifier last night.
