U23s Host Cardiff - Ipswich Town News
Tommy Hughes and Harry Wright will be among those involved when the U23s take on Cardiff City at Playford Road this afternoon (KO 1pm).
Gerard Nash and Chris Hogg’s side got their first points of the season at the seventh attempt last Wednesday when they beat Bolton Wanderers 6-3, also at the training ground.
However, they remain bottom of the Professional Development League Two South table.
Hughes, who had made his senior debut the previous night in the Leasing.com Trophy win against Gillingham, scored twice against the Trotters, including a brilliant second from just inside the opposition half.
