U18s to Host King's Lynn in FA Youth Cup - Ipswich Town News
The Blues’ U18s will face King’s Lynn Town at Portman Road in the first round of the FA Youth Cup.
The Linnets, whose senior team play in the Vanarama National League North, twice came from behind to defeat Hitchin Town 4-3 via a last-minute goal at the Hertfordshire club’s Top Field home this evening.
The tie will be played on a date yet to be set before Saturday 2nd November.
Last season the Town youngsters were beaten 4-1 by Watford at the last 16 stage of the competition.
The Blues have won the FA Youth Cup on three occasions, in 1973, 1975 and 2005.
